3 WAYS TO CUT PAPER CONSUMPTION

Paper is useful and very essential. It continues to play a vital role in our everyday lives.

But since we know that our paper come from trees, it is important to find ways to reduce our paper consumption and consequently, pressure on our forests.

I will like to share 3 tips to help you cut down on paper:

  1. REDUCE – Print on both sides. You are actually cutting your paper consumption by half when you do this. Also try making other adjustments like reducing font size or spacing.
  2. REUSE – Keep old documents and print or write on the blank sides.
  3. RECYCLE – If you live in an area with recycling facilities for paper, be sure to take advantages of this. Otherwise, UPCYCLE and find other uses for paper like it is popularly used in Nigeria to wrap Akara/Kosai (Beans Cake) or Suya (Grilled meat). You can also buy recycled paper from stores or books printed on recycled paper.
